In the end I think I've settled on this Carl Jacobs chair being the one thing I absolutely, definitely, completely *must* have after visiting Flure Grossart and her amazing selection of vintage marvels...but there were quite a few runners up...
In fact, its location right in the centre of desirable Notting Hill was pretty enviable for a start and (of course) when I visited it was a perfect early spring day (sigh)...Flure sources and sells original antique furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories specialising in mid-century. And, my, this lovely lady has a wonderful eye for finding and displaying some mighty fine classic pieces and unique originals...
Everything is so beautifully displayed, I love how you can see how well Flure has chosen these pieces to work together...as well as just being beautiful alone...
This vintage Habitat lamp might be no.2 on my Must Have list...
These were created by Flure's housemate natch! Very talented household :)
Moroso sofa joy...
And as you can probably tell my the slick design look of the apartment, Flure is also a fantastic interior designer - take a look at her excellent bathroom...
And here is Flure herself, a fantastic vintage furniture finder and super stylish lady...you can make an appointment to have look yourself or plenty of pieces are available to buy on her site too...thanks for letting me take a peek Flure!
